Slow Cooker Pulled Pork
This easy Slow Cooker Pulled Pork is juicy, fall-apart tender and packed with flavor. This simple slow cooker pulled pork recipe is perfect for sandwiches. Tossed with bbq sauce and served on toasty buns with coleslaw and pickles!
Slow Cooker Pulled Pork
- 3-4 lb. boneless pork shoulder or butt
- 1 small yellow onion finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- ⅓ cup apple cider vinegar
- 3/4 cup cup water
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon Ground black pepper
1.Trim excess fat from pork. Combine salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, brown sugar in small bowl; rub over roast.
2. Place onion in slow cooker add pork. Combine tomato paste, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and water. pour over meat. Cover cook on low 6 hours.
3.Transfer roast to cutting board. Trim and discard any fat from roast. Use 2 forks to pull pork apart. Serve pork place it on buns to make pulled pork sandwiches enjoy.
