coleslaw mix. It makes this a super simple coleslaw recipe.

I don’t mind shredded up some cabbage and carrots thanks to my food processor doing most of the work, but if you’re making coleslaw for a large crowd the store-bought is just as good and a huge time saver!

I opt for making it myself most of the time as we can’t find an organic coleslaw mix.

The food processor we use makes it even easier with the exact slice system. It makes even slices every time and I love it for making slices for salads as well. 🙂

After cutting my fingertip off with a mandoline (didn’t use a guard, thankfully learned my lesson!) I can never be without my food processor.

Ingredients
2 16 oz coleslaw mix
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon mustard
1/4 cup white vinegar or apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon celery seed

Instructions
Place the coleslaw mix (shredded cabbage and carrots) into a large bowl.
Pour the remaining ingredients into the bowl.
Mix ingredients well and cover.
Keep in fridge overnight before serving, as so the flavor develops.
*If you like it a little more watery add in 1/2 cup buttermilk or regular milk enjoy .

Notes
If you like your coleslaw really creamy/soft you can just do 1 bag of coleslaw mix.
