Roasted Cornish Hen
- 2 whole Cornish hens
- 4 sprigs thyme
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. In a small bowl, combine butter, thyme, all of the dry ingredients and set aside.
- Prep the Cornish hens pat dry with kitchen towels all over Cornish. Place hens in a large roasting pan or on baking sheet.
- Coat the Cornish hens. with butter mixture all over each hen until evenly coated. Transfer the roasting pan to the preheated oven and bake for 40 minutes.
- Remove hens from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes. Serve with roasted potatoes enjoy.
