This Rice with Orzo is a delicious and easy side dish that goes with just about any meal.It’s So Simple And Flavorful, You’ll Crave It At Least Once A Week!
• 2 cups Jasmine Rice
• ½ cup orzo
• 3 cups water
• 3 tablespoon oil
• 1 teaspoon salt
• ¼ teaspoon black pepper
1.Rinse the rice in cold water remove any excess starch.In a large saute pan add oil and heat over medium-high heat until starting to become hot.
2.Add orzo. Stir until orzo becomes golden brown.
Stir in rice and cook until translucent.
3.Add water and salt, pepper Bring to a simmer, reduce heat to low, and cover. Cook for 20 minutes until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Remove from heat, but don’t lift the lid. Let the finished rice stand for 10 minutes, then fluff with a fork and serve enjoy.
