Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Recipe

This tender shredded pork has been slow-cooked for hours in a sweet and tangy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4-6 pounds pork shoulder roast (or boneless pork loin)
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 bottle your favorite BBQ sauce

Instructions

  • Rinse the pork shoulder and pat dry.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper and garlic and onion powder and place in your slow cooker.
  • Pour in apple juice and liquid smoke all around the sides of the pork.
  • Cook on low setting for 4 hours, until the pork is very tender.
  • Remove the pork from the slow cooker and discard the remaining liquid.
  • Remove the bone and shred the pork
  • Place the shredded meat onto a hamburger bun and add the desired amount of sauce per sandwich enjoy .
