Lomo Saltado Stir Fry Beef
Lomo saltado is dish that combines beef stir-fry, french fries and rice is quick and delicious to make at home. It’s made using thinly sliced steak and stir-fried with onions and tomatoes.one of my favorite Peruvian dishes!
Lomo Saltado Stir Fry Beef
- ¾ lb beef sirloin cut into strips
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 red onion cut into slices
- 2 Roma tomatoes cut into wedges
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 3 cups french fries
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
- 1 cup cilantro chopped
- Prepare the French fries Set aside. Combine salt, pepper, cumin, cayenne pepper ,vinegar, and soy sauce in a bowl. Add the beef sirloin strips and marinate for 30 minutes.
- Heat 2 tablespoon of olive oil over high heat. Add the beef sirloin and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until brown.
- Add the red onion, tomatoes,and garlic and Cook for 1-2 minutes until the tomatoes are tender.Add the french fries and cook for 1 minute.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve over white rice enjoy .
