LAMB SHISH KEBAB

Lamb Shish Kebab is a very popular Turkish / Middle Eastern dish. This simple recipe explains how to make your homemade version of this lamb kebabs from scratch with a few ingredients!

LAMB SHISH KEBAB

  • 1 lb lamb leg or shoulder cut into bite sized chunks
    1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper paste
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ tablespoon salt
  1. Place the olive oil, tomato paste,red pepper paste garlic, salt,black pepper in a bowl Add the lamb and give it a good mix together.
  2. Thread the lamb onto metal or soaked bamboo kebab skewers.
  3. Cook the lamb kebabs on the BBQ or the griddle for 15-18 minutes.
  4. Serve with pitta bread, tzatziki and a tomato,cucumber,red onion salad. Alternatively, these go great with enjoy.
