JAPANESE FRIED SHRIMP
- 1 pound shrimp peeled (tails left on)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg beaten
- ½ cup cold water
- 1 cup panko crumbs
- vegetable oil for frying
- in a bowl Place shrimp and season with salt, pepper. add flour in bowl. Place egg and cold water in a second bowl and panko in a third bowl.
