This easy Pumpkin Pie recipe is a classic Thanksgiving dessert. It’s very similar to the Libby Pumpkin Pie recipe but with my own twist.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 9 inch unbaked deep dish pie crust
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 2 eggs
- 1 15 ounce can Pumpkin Puree
- 1 12 fluid ounce can Evaporated Milk
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
- Combine sugar, salt and Pumpkin Pie Spice Blend in small bowl.
- In a large bowl, beat eggs lightly.
- Stir in pumpkin puree and spice/sugar mixture.
- Slow stir in evaporated milk.
- Pour into prepared pie shell.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Reduce temperature to 350 degrees and bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
- Cool on wire rack for 2 hours.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to use enjoy .
