PUMPKIN PIE

This easy Pumpkin Pie recipe is a classic Thanksgiving dessert.  It’s very similar to the Libby Pumpkin Pie recipe but with my own twist. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 9 inch unbaked deep dish pie crust
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice 
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 15 ounce can Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 12 fluid ounce can Evaporated Milk

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Combine sugar, salt and Pumpkin Pie Spice Blend in small bowl.
  • In a large bowl, beat eggs lightly.
  • Stir in pumpkin puree and spice/sugar mixture.
  • Slow stir in evaporated milk.
  • Pour into prepared pie shell.
  • Bake for 15 minutes.
  • Reduce temperature to 350 degrees and bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
  • Cool on wire rack for 2 hours.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to use enjoy .
