Homemade Flatbread
This homemade soft flatbread that is not only delicious but also really fun to make. It only has a handful of ingredients and great to eat as a meal or side dish. It is incredibly fluffy!
Homemade Flatbread
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 teaspoon dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- In the bowl of a stand mixer, Add yeast and honey in warm water until foam develops. Stir in the milk,salt, baking powder and flour. Turn mixer on low and knead until dough comes together and no longer sticks to the sides.
- Cover bowl and let the dough rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
Preheat a medium sized skillet to medium-low heat. Divide dough into 8 equal sized pieces and form into balls. Roll each ball out to a 7-inch circle. - Cook each side for 3 minutes or until golden brown and cooked thoroughly enjoy.
