Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Cheddar Bay Biscuits
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoon backing powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Topping: - 4 Tablespoons butter melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 Tablespoon fresh parsley finely chopped
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together the melted butter and buttermilk. Combine with the dry ingredients until incorporated. It will make a thick dough. Fold in the cheddar cheese.
- Drop large, spoonfuls of dough (about 2-3 tablespoons worth we used an ice cream scoop onto the sheet pans, spacing each 2 inches apart, and bake for about 20 minutes, until cooked through and golden brown.
- Melt butter in microwave. Stir in garlic powder and parsley. Brush on warm biscuits Serve immediately enjoy .
