Caramel Apple Cake

Caramel Apple Cake
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- ½ cup whole milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 Teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
For the apple topping - caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 medium size apples diced
- Preheat the oven to 350˚F . Spray a 9-inch round cake
pan with baking spray. Line bottom of the pan with
parchment. Set aside. - Pour ½ cup of caramel sauce into the prepared pan. cover the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle with the cinnamon then add the diced apple in an even layer.
- In a large bowl, whisk together milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla,vegetable oil and. Add the baking powder,cinnamon and salt. Whisk to combine. Add the all-purpose flour. Whisk to combine.
- Pour the batter into prepared pan. Bake for 45 minutes, until the a toothpick comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool for at least 10 minutes. Serve warm with caramel sauce and whipped cream or ice cream enjoy.
