Beef Teriyaki is a classic dish that combines the rich flavors of beef with the sweet and savory taste of teriyaki sauce. and is ready to serve with fluffy rice or other Asian inspired sides in only about 20 minutes!
Beef Teriyaki
- 2 ½ pounds flank steak Thinly Sliced
- 1/2 large Sliced Onion
- 1 teaspoon Grated Ginger
- 3 cloves Garlic finely chopped
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
- 1 tablespoon brown Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper,
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- Chopped Green Onion for garnish
- Set a wok or large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add the sesame oil to the pan. Once hot, add the steak sliced and onion to the pan. Stirfry the steak until brown on all sides.
- Once all the steak are browned, move them to a plate, leaving the remaining fat and juices in the pan.Place the garlic and ginger in the pan. Stirfry for 2-3 minutes to soften.
- add the soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, and crushed red pepper. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens into a gravy consistency.
- Add the browned steak and juices back to the skillet. Toss and coat for 3 more minutes until the steak is fully cooked through. Turn off the heat and stir in the onion black pepper.Serve over rice enjoy.
