This Beef and Mushroom , noodles Stir Fry is so quick and easy to make at home and tastes better than takeout. This sweet and savoury sauce with tender beef, mushroom and egg noodle are heaven!
Beef and Mushroom Noodles Stir Fry
- 16 ounces fresh or frozen egg noodle
- 1 lb flank steak/skirt steak
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 2 ½ cups sliced mushrooms
- 2 clove garlic thinly sliced
- ½ onion diced
- 3 green onions sliced
For the sauce - ¼ cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Chinese cooking wine
- 2 teaspoon oyster sauce
- 2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Whisk together all ingredients for the sauce, set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium high heat. When hot, add the beef and cook for 3 minutes per side, until cooked through. Remove beef from pan and drain off any excess liquid, wipe pan if needed.
- Return pan to heat Add remaining tablespoon of oil to pan Add in the sliced mushrooms and stir fry for a 2 minutes. add onion and cook for 2 minutes, stirring as needed, until onion is starting to soften.
- add the beef and noodles to the pan.Pour in the sauce, stirring to mix and coat everything in the sauce.Cook for 4 minutes, until sauce has thickened.
- Remove from heat. Garnish green onion if desired and serve enjoy.
